Bell Hill

This allotment site sits between Air Balloon Primary School and Garfield Road, just off Bell Hill Road. It offers around 40 plots, most of them south-facing and well-suited to productive growing. Many plot holders live within walking distance and have been part of the site for years, giving it a strong, established sense of community.

The site is home to a wide range of wildlife, including badgers, foxes, and squirrels, and also features a generous communal area. In the past, this space has hosted yoga sessions during the summer as well as regular social gatherings — opportunities to exchange ideas, discuss site matters, and enjoy time together in a relaxed setting.
